Congressional & NC Supreme Court Primary Election Calendar:

Due to a federal court decision, North Carolina's congressional maps were re-drawn, requiring a separate primary election for these races on June 7. A separate court decision necessitated a primary election for the NC Supreme Court, also to be held on June 7.

May 13 – Voter registration deadline (NOTE: If you missed this deadline, you can STILL register and vote during the early voting period. Learn more.)

May 26 – Early voting & same-day registration begins (Find early voting sites in your county)

May 31 – Deadline to request an absentee ballot

June 4 – Early voting & same-day registration ends

JUNE 7 – PRIMARY ELECTION DAY (Polls open 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Find your polling place.)
